Sublimation transfer ink, also known as Heat sublimation ink, is a kind of disperse dye ink that belongs to water-based ink. Unlike other inks, sublimation  transfer ink requires high temperature to transfer the color onto objects, revealing its original hue. Initially, the color printed on the transfer paper is not the final color, and it will only show its original hue after the transfer process.

Applicable scope of the thermal transfer printing process: The sublimation transfer printing process is suitable for printing on fabrics and the surfaces of hard objects that have been coated. Fabrics are mainly made of polyester and polyester-cotton, while hard objects are made of high-temperature resistant materials such as film, metal, glass, porcelain tiles, porcelain cups, PVC, etc. As long as the transfer items are heat-resistant and are combined with a sublimation transfer printing coating, they can all be printed with images using a special heat press machine.

Precautions for printer and ink supply system:

(1)Whether in use or during transportation, the continuous ink supply must be kept level with the printer. When removing the printer, the ink supply must not be higher than the printer.

(2)Open the ink supply cap (the small cap on top of the ink supply) during printing! If not in use, make sure to cover the small cap.

(3)When the printer is used for the first time, it needs to be cleaned first, and a test line needs to be printed before actual printing. It is also recommended to turn on the printer and print a test line every day.

(4)Ink must be added when the ink level reaches the warning line.

(5) During the printing process, if the ink supply tube scrapes against the machine, the printer must be immediately turned off and unplugged.
