Currently, digital printing technology can be roughly divided into two types: digital heat transfer printing and digital direct printing.

What is digital heat transfer printing?

Heat transfer printing is a method often used in textile printing. The principle of heat transfer printing is similar to that of slide printing, which utilizes the sublimation properties of disperse dyes to transfer the disperse dyes to synthetic fibers such as polyester and fix them under high temperature conditions.

The application scope of digital thermal transfer printing is also very wide, including various textile industries such as towels, clothing, curtains, etc., all of which have the presence of thermal transfer printing. However, thermal transfer printing is often used for polyester fabrics.

Digital direct printing is actually a printing method that directly sprays ink onto the fabric. The printing towels produced by this method have a high coloring rate and high color fastness of heat transfer printing.

Heat transfer printing has a high requirement for ink, and it has developed very well in recent years. The market share is also growing constantly. Therefore, many people think that digital heat transfer printing is the development direction of the printing industry in the future.
