Sublimation paper is a crucial consumable in clothing production. Typically, the sublimation ink is temporarily printed onto the sublimation paper. During the heat transfer process, the ink transfers from the paper to the product. Therefore, the use of sublimation paper can enhance the quality of the product. So, how can we better utilize sublimation pape？

The quality of heat transfer paper
When judging the quality of sublimation paper, the main consideration is reducibility, which is a determining condition for the quality of sublimation paper. In addition, the uniformity and thickness of the heat transfer paper coating is also an important factor affecting the quality of the heat ransfer paper.

There are three methods to ensure the printing side of thermal transfer paper:

a. Surface Color

The two sides of thermal transfer paper can be distinguished visually, with one side being brighter and the other side darker. The darker side is the printing surface, which is our front side.

b. Different Texture

We touch both sides of the thermal transfer paper with our hands, and the side with a rougher texture is the printing surface.

c. Bending Tendency

This method is not recommended for everyone. Since the surface of thermal transfer paper has a thermal transfer coating, it tends to bend when exposed to air. The side that bends is the printing surface we want to determine (the inward direction of the bend is the printing surface).
